They do a great job finding out what you're looking for when you're shopping for a dress. The shop if nice and comfortable, and the selection is on trend.

My daughter went here only to get her prom dress altered. All that needed to be done was the bottom to be taken up with a basic straight hem of typical fabric. As well as the slit of her dress on her thigh taken up a few inches because she is so short. This dress couldn't be more simple, nor the job we requested. She charged $85 to do this! So I expected it to be perfect! Especially considering what I already spent on the dress!!! Well not even close. There was fringe left all along the edge of the hem. The hem isn't even straight, it is hemmed in waves. The slit was not taken up high enough as asked. The slit is now " bunchy " instead of laying flat. There was a one inch hole at the top of the slit where she didn't even finish stitching around it! As someone who owns a sewing machine and has hemmed pants before I could have done a better job! But when you spend money like that on a dress you trust the experts not to screw it up. My daughter took the dress back in to have fixed. Instead of apologizing for the shoddy workmanship and offering a discount for the inconvenience of having to come back; Helen was rude to my daughter , insisted and argued she would have to pay more money to bring up the hem. Now she did fix the hole, and cut the fringe off the hem, but you can't fix the waves. My daughter got so upset by how she was treated she left crying. Needless to say I am not happy with Helen. The other staff are very personable an lovely to work with, but I really wish I had saved the $85 and the hassle and done it myself.
